| I got inspiration from a certain Harvest Moon dress up game on Deviantart: http://shidabeeda.deviantart.com/art/Harvest-Moon-Dress-up-62001637And I decided to turn my characters into a story. It is based on Harvest Moon, but it is all my work. Here are the main characters. Young Carrie Carrie Freya Mitch Tia Tommy Here is the first chapter! | Spoiler: | | | Connie sat on the window ledge, gazing out towards the distance where her brother, Mitch, and his best friend Tommy were out having fun. Connie was six years old, the age when most mothers let their children work on the farm. But Connie's mother didn't agree with that. She said Connie had plenty of time to work, and she couldn't help until she was at least Twelve. When her father was in a good mood, he would hold her up on his shoulders while he collected the chicken eggs. Sometimes he even put a small, speckled brown egg into her palms, so she could feel the chick inside. Connie would always feel miserable when she watched Mitch and Tommy run towards the cows early in the morning. She loved sitting on a stool and stroking each cow in turn, whispering to them. Mitch would watch her secretly. He thought their mother was mental. Tommy's little sister Tia was allowed to help out, just not with the eggs as she was a little clumsy and had broken sixteen eggs in about a week. Mitch would try to pursuade their mother into letting her help, but she would never crack the slightest bit. He just hoped his mother would see sense... |
