| The Sequel to the cool story that was previously released by me. Enjoy The Rift 2: Spirit Tomb! Chapter 1; - What Happened to the Spirit Hunter?| Spoiler: | | | Chapter 1; What Happened to the Spirit Hunter
2 years have passed since The Rift closed, but it never closed completely. There was no one to protect Club Penguin from the damage The Rift does daily, until when a penguin called Jimmy arrived back at Club Penguin.
The Rift had a reported strike at the Beach, it had attacked the Lighthouse. That’s when a team of 4, called Adrarift, came walking down past the Plaza, past the Town, in sunglasses and leather gear, all the other Penguins stayed away, they arrived at the Lighthouse and began assessing the situation.
‘Dodgy! Hey watch where you’re waving that Rift Analyser! You could have poked my head off with that!’ James said. ‘Well, with a target like that, I’m surprised how I missed!’ Sara said. ‘Well how are we meant to repair the Beacon’s glass, and get the bulb back in, the bulbs in the sea for goodness sake? Are we meant to use a fishing rod?’ James said. ‘If Jimmy was here, he’d know what to do.’ Emily replied. ‘Well Jimmy isn’t here is he? Can you see him, fat lot of good he is, he’s been gone for about 5 weeks! How are we meant to do this on our own? Did he say where he went?’ James asked. ‘He told no-one, remember? We’ve said that 90 times.’ Will said. ‘True…’ James answered.
Seconds later, the glass for the Beacon blew out, hitting the fence surrounding it and blowing the fences down. With a massive explosion, bits of glass flew everywhere, and with the blow, all the team were blew off their legs and fell on their backs.
‘Whoa! What the cheese was that? Bomb? Rift Strike? Had to be a big one.’ James shouted. ‘Coulda fooled me, looked like a pretty good series of gunpowder explosions.’ Will explained.
A few seconds later, a large zap of electricity was drawn from the cables that were attached to the Beacon’s bulb. Moments later, the whole island lost power! All the lights went off, TV stations went down, and so did their respective TVs.
‘We’re going to have to get that sorted out.’ Sara muttered. ‘Yup, to the Boiler Room!’ James ordered. ‘Why the Boiler Room?’ Will asked. ‘Well it has a stash of extra power for the whole island, we activate that in to the Switchboard, turn on the Switchboard and the power goes live.’ James explained. ‘Good idea!’ Emily replied.
So the team set off to the Boiler Room, through the Nightclub, where about 50 penguins with torches were parading about why the power went off, because Adrarift were the only possible explanation, they got blamed on their way down. They made it down the ladder in the speaker to the Boiler Room. Activating the power was no problem, as James said, take the spare cable, plug it in to the Power Switchboard, and turn on the Switchboard. Because they couldn’t do anything yet to fix the Lighthouse, they headed back to their secret base. Across to the Iceberg, and activate the hidden step-switches, Iceberg flipped round, dropped them in to a hidden, waterproof room, and the Iceberg continued flipping round so it lay on top, normal as ever. This was the Adrarift Centre, where they carry out their investigations, and have a chat.
‘Forgot the Pizzas, I always do that.’ James said.
He just sat there, expecting someone else to order some Pizzas from the Pizza Parlor.
‘Go get them then!’ Will ordered. ‘Okay… No need for the nag.’ James responded.
He exited the easy way, where they should really enter, put on the swimsuit, open the air lock cabin door, and lock it behind him, open the door to the side, and swim in to the Adrarift Submarine. Drive it to the side of the Mountain, press the hide button on his wrist-band, which made it dive a bit under water.
He walked to the Pizza Parlor. He ordered 2 Pepperonis, 1 plain Cheese and Tomato, and one Pineapple. Hopped in to the Sub, put them in a water-tight box, and drove it back to the base.
Once he arrived back, he dished them out, and they started discussing matters.
‘How do you think we will repair the Beacon? It’s been practically blown up.’ James said, taking another bite of Pizza. ‘Will we ever be able to?...’ Will said, rudely interrupted by James. ‘… That’s why I’m asking.’ James replied. ‘Well, who cares, we have a bigger mission.’ Sara reminded. ‘The whole of Club Penguin cares, and what’s the bigger mission?’ James asked. ‘Finding Jimmy…’ Sara continued. ‘Phahaha! As if we will ever find him, face it, he’s gone.’ James butted in. ‘No, I believe in him, he saved us, we will find him, and save him!’ Sara ignored James. ‘Sara, whenever you begin speaking sense, I’ll talk to you, he isn’t going to come back. Why would he go missing one day, and never contact us, not even a “Be right back”, why would he suddenly appear?’ James continued. ‘I don’t care what you say, James. He’s out there, and I’m determined to find him! Who is with me?’ Sara asked, everyone felt like they had to agree. ‘I do.’ Will said, holding his arm up in the air. ‘I definitely do.’ Emily repeated, hoisting her arm up. ‘Agh, fine, I can’t exactly stay here can I?’ James said, feeling like he’d just destroyed the world.
‘Good! He’s out there, and we are going to find him!’ Sara ordered!

Chapter 2; - the Leader of the Gang
| Spoiler: | | | Chapter 2; the Leader of the Gang
Hey! It’s me, Jimmy! Anyway, I’m trying to get my Spirit back; it isn’t going very well, not right now. You see, I couldn’t tell the others, because they don’t know about my past life.
Anyway, I tracked down this massive old place, called Returban Rocks; it’s a place on Rockhopper Island. I climbed to the top, moved a large rock, and it found an entrance. I hopped down; I did a few more of those old maze type caverns and got myself here. I think this looks pretty safe.
Wrong, again! The whole area started splitting, the floor started forming large gaps and lava was filling up the gaps, I ran across and jumped across the gaps. I felt like King! Until I fell down the other end. I fell into a large pile of rocks, the whole room exploded, loads of pillars started falling, like they were exploding.
I lay there, face covered in scars, cuts and bruises, and stood up, I turned left, saw a large pillar about to fall right on top of me.
‘Oh… Right.’ I uttered.
The next moment when my brain received instructions, I ran down right, past the rocks and round the room, climbed up some rocks in to a new hall. It was a fairly small area. All it had was a large well, with some seriously broken ladders, I dropped down and grabbed on to a bit of ladder which was safe, dropped to the next piece, but miss timed my grab, and fell straight down, head first and hit the floor. Once the temporary headache had worn off, I took a quick glance at the room. There were loads of wooden decks, all the way down this circular room, all there was were ladders joining them together, I looked down, so far, I could only see the bottom vaguely, I slid down the ladder to my right, left, right, right, left, right, left, left, right, left, left, and finally right.
I ended up in a circular hall, I walked through a large passage-way, it was an empty room except for a sandstone wall, from the looks of it, I had to climb it, now it would be a challenge considering its sandstone. I grabbed my rope and hook out of my rucksack, I’d come prepared this time, and yes if you’re wondering; I still have my trusty staff!
I hooked my rope to the end of the wall, bits of rock started to fall off, I wondered if I would actually manage to climb it.
Best foot forward, so I tightened the rope, placed my foot on, and started pulling on the rope and walking.
First step, second step, third step, fourth step and crash!
The sandstone broke off and formed a mini-landslide. At the other end was a hallway.
‘Right… The sandstone was used to cover up this hallway! But what’s the hallway suspended in mid-air that if I managed to climb the sandstone I’d be in right now?’ I wondered.
I ran in to the hallway, a large hall awaited me, all I could see was a large, rectangular bubbling swimming pool, but the water was a creamy red, you couldn’t see through it, just it’s surface, around the 4 corners of the pool were 4 metal poles with large orbs on the top of each of them.
Suddenly, the water started bubbling ferociously; the door behind me sealed shut, the orbs lighted up blue, the room started to shake, it felt like the gravity in the room changed, I got thrown to the opposite side of the hall, defenceless. The water started shooting up in jets, and then finally all the water shot up and went all over the side of the pool, a massive body formed out the water, it was covered in the red liquid like it had bathed in the pool all it’s life, I could see it’s face, it had no nose, no ears and no hair.
Firstly he faced the other way; he didn’t see me just yet. Woops, spoke too soon! He turned round, spotted me, I ripped my staff out from my back, and aimed, I fired an ice blast at him, it just went straight through his body, and melted once it reached the other side! He started walking towards me, a few of his steps generated an earthquake through the floor and I bounced off the ground, off my feet, on my back, in the wall. He walked closer; I counted my many attempts to reach to my feet, but as he got closer, it wasn’t worth trying, the quakes were harder through the floor, I gave up eventually, I began to think my life was over. He knew I was a penguin, but I knew I couldn’t die, but if he is even bothering to attack me, he must know how to kill a penguin.
He got right near me, and he lifted his thick arm, and forced it straight through my heart.
‘Auh, Eah’ I echoed the noises of death and pain, and then there was silence, I had no vision. Dead.
