Chapter 9, in it's full glory!
Chapter 9;

I had arrived, everything had an Egyptian feel, bits of ancient tombs, and everything was quiet. Too quiet.
I walked down a corridor, I heard a strange, sort of mechanical buzzing noise. I continued walking the only way I could, straight on. The floors had strange patterns, I could not make sense of them, the walls were white with strange stone pillars separating floor from ceiling.
I continued down the path, it felt like I was going forever, but I looked up, and saw a room at the end.
Same flooring, same pillars, same walls and the same white ceiling and a new glass structure in the ceiling, the only thing that wasn’t white was the flooring, it was a nice yellow-cream colour, with green and light red patterns squiggling left to right. In the middle was nothing, it was just an empty room. I located the source of the buzzing noise; it came from the large, glass window up above in the ceiling, like a glass structure that stood tall on the top of the building. The buzzing had a rhythm. I gazed at the glass, to see if I could see anything out of it, I saw greys and blacks, nothing detailed, but, wait, when I came in, it was day? But now it’s dark night? Strange. Then suddenly…
A gate started falling, blocking the way I came in.
‘That’s fine; I wasn’t planning on leaving straight away anyway.’ I said, to frighten who ever might be watching me, I knew in my conscious I was scared to death.
What could happen? I mean it’s an empty room, seriously, it has no windows, except the one in the ceiling that is cone shaped, the floor wasn’t exactly going to form waves like the sea and make me fly everywhere.
The buzzing noise slowly got quicker, I could notice it, it got faster and faster, until it was pretty much constant, I couldn’t bother to stop it, I couldn’t reach the source of it, it was coming from the ceiling window but to be honest, I couldn’t careless.
Before I could have any more ideas to calm myself down, there was a voice.
‘I’ve been waiting for this day, Jimmy.’ A deep voice said, coming from the glass window.
It was silence, but that voice, I recognise it from somewhere?
If only at this moment I knew what was happening back at Club Penguin.
‘Hey! That was a foul, you know it !’ Will said.
‘That was never a foul! You just… overreacted!’ James replied.
Sara blew the whistle.
‘Foul!’ Sara shouted.
‘It’s a foul mate!’ Will said, with a cocky voice at James.
‘Grrr!’ James said.
They were all at the Ice Rink, playing Ice Hockey, until Sara got a bleep on her wrist-band, she pressed a button, a blue hologram of a face had appeared, and it was the General!
‘General? Where are you?’ Sara asked.
‘I’m safe, some penguin in a black cape grabbed me from the forest, and the same happened to Will, I escaped wherever I was, and on my way out I heard some crazed psycho scientist speaking, and he said he has hidden ten electro-magnets around Club Penguin, when turned up to their highest power, it would kill everyone on this side of the planet!’ The General explained.
‘Really? If they get fired, everyone will be dead, they would be fried! Who would do such a thing?’ Sara wondered.
‘A crazed psycho scientist who doesn’t know how to speak.’ The General replied.
A few seconds later, he replied again.
‘You asked!’ He said.
‘It was a rhetorical question! Anyway, we need to destroy the magnets, General, meet us at the Ice Rink.’ Sara ordered.
‘Will do! Over and Out!’ The General replied.
A moment after they put their sticks away, the General showed up.
‘Ok, now we need to organise this.’ The General said.
‘Right, so how are we going to do it?’ Sara wondered.
‘I’ll download the co-ordinates of all 10 magnets to your master at base.’ He explained.
‘How do you know about Emily?’ Sara asked.
‘Well, you wouldn’t be here without her, appreciate that.’ He said.
‘Right, Will, take the west of the island, James take east, General, you take south and I’ll do the north.’ Sara ordered.
‘Co-ordinates Downloaded, and I think I found some information deep down in this database about the Kendalites, the information is still downloading, but you have the co-ordinates, even if there aren’t electro-magnets, it’s worth checking to see if there is the chance of ruthless electro-magnets.’ Emily said, down the ear-piece.
‘Ok, team, I just got the information that the co-ordinates are done, General, take an ear-piece, you’re a temporary member of the Adrarift team.’ Sara ordered!
‘Okay! Let’s go!’ Will said.
The team split up, and as the General exited past the Snow Forts, he smiled, and rubbed his hands together and began making quiet laughter.
Back at The Spirit Tomb, I was about to be shocked.
The glass structure embedded in the roof opened, spiralling out and opening, the middle ground in the room I was standing on lifted up, and dropped me on the roof, and it was a flat roof, no tiles, no slope, just, tiled and flat. The floor I was standing on before just rocketed in to the air, never to be seen again, then the glass structure followed it, rocketing in to the air, could of gone absolutely anywhere.
Before I could wonder what would happen next, the voice from earlier spoke.
‘Ready to meet who brought you here? What previous insanity brought you back to this suffering island, from the aliens, known as the Kendalites?’ The voice said.
‘I recognise you! I order you show yourself! You are speaking to the penguin with the biggest nerve in the whole of Club Penguin! Surely that should be effort!’ I replied.
‘I don’t think so! And before you ask, I am coming, enjoy the last moments of your life, Jimzhh29.’ He said.
‘Don’t you dare use my username like that.’ I said.
‘Wait until I get up there, little boy.’ He said.
‘No, wait until you die. Whoever you are.’ I replied.
‘How can a dead man die?’ He asked.
‘Ask yourself the same question.’ I answered.
‘Ok, by being incinerated in their own bodies!’ He replied.
‘I don’t think so!’ I said.
‘I’m here for you, Jimzhh29.’ He said.
I looked down to the room below, the hole where the floor was before shone incredible light, then it echoed complete darkness. Then I felt evil, fire burned through the hole, I could feel the heat on my face, I smiled.
There it was, a large, stone face shot up from the hole, it was long, and just wide enough to fit through the hole, it was burning, but it was stone!
‘Wahahahaha!’ It yelped.
A few seconds silence, all I heard was the sounds of gaining height, and then it flew past the room, setting everything inside it, which was just wallpaper, alight. He shot out where the glass window was and nearly took off my face! It settled and slowed down in the air, the flames cooled, blew themselves out and then it was a flying stone face!
‘I’ve been waiting for this day, Jimzhh29.’ It said.
‘You said that already, and a flying face! I don’t think that was your best idea, Gary.’ I identified the face, it was Gary, but massive and in stone!
‘I don’t care! Now you will die, and will get what I got. Death.’ He said.
‘You must have met Frankenstein! Good old Franky! Brought you back to life did he?’ I replied sarcastically.
‘No actually, the moment you pulled that lever, the systems would have gone in to shutdown, and considering I was wired in to the systems it would have short circuited my body of all the electricity and I would have died, when what happened is it sucked my spirit straight out of my body, kept it safe in one of my inventions and reformed me back in a stone form over 2 years, and now I am going to kill you!’ He explained.
‘Right, so you’re going to smack me with your double chin! Do stone faces have double chins?’ I said.
‘You want to know how I am going to kill you? Like this…’ He said.
Seconds later, a green light laser thing shot out his left eye, followed by another in his left; I noticed it started burning through the buildings roof.
I quickly turned my head round to find an escape, a single-person aircraft thing and a broken blown up wall.
Turned back around, the lasers were at my feet!
‘Oh…’ I uttered.
I hopped down the wall, and pressed a button on my wrist-band, the door opened, I hopped in, shut the door and powered in to the air.
I was near the stone head of Gary, I felt a bit scared.
‘Okay! You want a battle? I’ll give you a battle!’ I said.
I flew up, and the head followed, I did feel a bit cosy though in this plane, it was a small cabin, and I was amazed at the amount of buttons you can put in such a thing.
His lasers fired, he was moving them up and they were about to burn through the bottom of my plane! I found a manual for the plane, I quickly flicked through the pages.
‘Rockets…!’ I whispered to myself.
I quickly turned some handles, pulled on a wheel and selected which rockets to fire, I hit the fire button, I saw four rockets release out of the plane, right towards him, they hit him, but he wasn’t dead! A bit of rubble fell off him, but that was it!
He re-aimed his lasers, I quickly went back through the manual, I found a page called ‘Ion Dispensers’. I did everything on the manual, activated it. A large bomb shaped thing shot towards him, hit him in the left eye, disabling the lasers, I sat in the chair in awe, and I actually hit him! A large screen on the panel had lit up, the text ‘Target Locked’ showed up, it had a basic blueprint type sketch of the stone head, and it was flashing. I opened the manual again, flipped to another page. ‘Particle Cannon’? Sounds cool! Lets use it!
I hit the keys in order, the screen said ‘Lock on enabled’ and a circle rotated around the head, I pressed the fire button, a weird, bumpy spiky coloured bal shot out at high speed, it stopped in mid air! All the bumps broke off, and grew, and flew straight at the stone face, when they hit, there wasn’t a fire or gunpowder type explosion, just a rocky explosion. Bits of rock and dust fell.
He got angry!
‘Rargh! Let’s make this serious! We are going up!’ With that said, he flew up higher, I followed.
He charged up his lasers, and regained control over them, I quickly scanned the book so I knew every weapon.
Atom Pulveriser? Choose strength on wheel 3, aim, hit fire button. Simple enough, that sounds cool!
Now it gets cool!
I flew up higher, and fired an Atom Pulveriser at the face, it was a green blob, like fire, flew down and hit his head, it grew like fire over him, and then it burned his atoms away! Dust fell to the floor, and the Atom Pulveriser died out.
He flew up to me, quickly fired a laser blast at my rockets, all of them exploded and the bottom of my plane started burning, bits of it exploded and fell off, but luckily the main cabin is sealed so nothing should be able to hurt it.
I fired another Particle Cannonball, quickly shot right behind him in the plane and watched the explosion from behind, he turned round, looked at me.
‘My secret weapon!’ He said, quickly charging up a red like orb in his mouth. It fired at me, that was the moment in every battle where you think you are going to loose.
The red orb flew towards me, I tried to dodge it but it was tracking me! It hit my jet engines at the back, and burned away, it choked the flames of oxygen and soon I was falling, the altitude was lowering, I quickly read the book, Electransformer?
I pressed what it said, noticing the red orb was burning through the roof of the plane, a large electrical bolt fired towards him, it grew all over him, and he was practically under an electric shock. He could mutter his last words.
‘You will regret this.’ He said, nodding, and then the electric had covered his body, and he fell to the floor with a smash, dust filling the air.
I still had my own problem though, the red orb! It had currently burned all through the plane, including melting the glass, and then…
It started burning through the main cabin! I quickly grabbed the nearest thing which was a lever, and suddenly…
The floor opened, the chair I was sat on fell towards the floor.
‘Please please please please please please please!’ I said.
A parachute opened, slowly holding up the process of falling, which was a good thing.
I had landed, watching the plane follow me down, quicker, and on fire. I jumped down back in to the previous room, completely forgetting the section of flooring missing, and I fell right down, deep down. No end, no beginning!
