Well finally I get round to releasing this thing! At last, it's the Rift!



Chapter 1; - Back to the Start

Part 1;

Part 1; ‘I’d kill to have a bit of adventure in life, but it seems that is too much to ask. ‘ That’s the question I’d ask 2 days ago, when my whole life changed, I was given a gift, one like no other, I was supreme. If you want to know my name, it’s Jimmy, my username is Jimzhh29, but just call me Jimmy. The day began, cold and frozen… but every day is exactly the same, frozen, this is Club Penguin we are talking about here. So I did my usual, woke up, had breakfast, fed my Puffles and watched the TV’s Weather Forecast, of course, snowy with the chance of snow, as always. I left my igloo, wearing my coat, I had to earn a bit of money to look after my Puffles and buy some Concert Lights, yes that’s right, I’m having a party soon! I earned a bit of money on Cart Surfer, and then I wanted to find out the time, so from the Plaza I walked to the Snow Forts, the clock was going crazy, it wasn’t broken, it just was going insane, the numbers were flying up and the snow ball target was going backwards. Then it did break, the snowball target shot off and then, a little black cylinder fell out, a thin pole came out the top, and a little wire frame formed the shape of a circle above the thin pole, and then it started pulsating a wheel of colour, bright red, fluorescent greens, loads! I, daring as ever, poked my finger in it, removed it straight away, I heard someone coming so I turned round looking innocent, and waved, to my surprise I saw the pulsating colour growing across my hand like jelly! ‘What are you doing?’ Asked the other penguin. Before I could reply, the colour had grew all over my face and was down my legs, I couldn’t bring myself to reply, and a moment later… I was gone.

Part 2;

Part 2; C’mon, you didn’t really think I was dead did you? How could I possibly write this then? Anyway, back to the story. I woke up, I still felt some jelly over me still, I wiped it off my eyes, tried to open them, they were a bit blurry at first, I climbed to my feet and felt sick and dizzy, when my vision came back to me and the dizziness faded, I thought, wait a minute, this isn’t where I was before. From the looks of it, I was in a cave, a brown cave with near no light, definitely underground. Then the moments thought, I looked behind me, another jelly portal! It was closing, down and down, I forced myself forward and just before I was about to touch it… Pop! The wire frame condensed into the small cylinder, I put the cylinder in my pocket just to see if I could make any use of it. Anyway, here I was, in some dark cave with a black cylinder in my pocket and nowhere to go. I looked around, taking in every detail, I didn’t want to rush into things, it was my lack to be sensible that got me here in the first place. So I began to walk around, since it was the only thing I could do. I found something, on the right side of the cave, was, well another part of cave, it was split, like it was a door, and in the right side of it, were 2 holes, the only thing I had, my finger, I tried shoving my fingers in the holes, how thick was I? Cylinder… So I put the cylinder in one hole. Still that other hole, humph. I sat down on a rock, and began to think, emptying my coat’s pockets of anything I had, a bit of snow… how did that get there? Anyway, the snow was melting; it must be a warm cave… A bottle of washing up liquid? What is that in there for? Fishing Rod, I had a go at fishing earlier, didn’t get very far… Can of worms, oh that’s real original. A bit of money and a Puffle lead in the other pocket. EUREKA! I grabbed the hook on the end of my Fishing Rod, these are sharp, empty the can of worms and cut the can down to size! It needs to be shortened, from the looks of it, too short for the hole, no good, too big for the hole, no good. I pulled the other cylinder out, put it in the can, a snug fit, so the circumference of the cylinders aren’t wrong, so I cut it down so it was the right length! I really felt determined now. Shove the cylinder and the can in, nothing happened? I felt slight worry here… I reclined back to my rock, and about 10 seconds later, the door opened! I ran towards it and…

Part 3;

Part 3; I was shocked, my heart beat raced, I ran towards the door, it was closing, very quickly, I focused my heart and made everything slow motion for myself, I dived down in to a roll, it was the only way I’d get through, if I did get through. I rolled 3 times completely, the door was extremely low now, finally, the last roll, they say the moment before your death, you see your life flash before your eyes like flashbacks, if I was going to die in this cave, and never see the world again, I never died in dignity. Heart beat increased, noises louder, panicking, under the door. I made it, sort of. Wow, trapped under a door, kinda cozy. With my flipper that did get through the door, I tried whacking the door, no use, you just feel useless. I began crying, I couldn’t do anything that helped, I felt really suicidal, I started self harm, I smacked the side of my waist. I waited about 5 minutes, relaxed, I knew I couldn’t do anything, so just let me die this cursed world. That’s when I remembered, the only way a penguin in Club Penguin can die is being banned, we live forever. I wanted to see if it was possible for my escape. I struggled hard, I guess I didn’t need to, I just slid out! I was inside the new passageway! I slid through! I hugged myself randomly. I checked if nothing fell out my pocket, and to my surprise my right pocket was soaked! All gooey! I opened it up, and the washing up liquid bottle had been squashed! It was either the door that squished it, or me smacking my waist. Anyway, the only way I could go was onwards, I was blocked, left, right and behind, so I walked up to the next door. There was a big clunky lever to my right, I pulled it and it opened the door in front. It was just another passageway, a door at the other end with a lever to the right, I walked up, the rock beneath my feet which I analysed ‘safe’ proved to be completely different. The rocks below my feet fell, I saw a room below me, with a bright light, of course when the flooring falls, if somebody is on it, they are going with it. I fell head first in to a pile of rocks, I felt in extreme pain, I lifted my head, covered in cuts and bruises, and what I saw, was to change my life forever.

Part 4;

Part 4; With the shock of what I had seen, I leapt to my feet. I cowered backwards to the wall behind me, just taking in everything. ‘What ever you are, I don’t mean you any harm, I will not hurt you, you are in the powerful position, please do not take my life, it would not be worth the strain of killing me right now, I could do with a better life, I must find out what I am doing, what insanity brought me here, who are you?’ I managed to form the words off my tongue. A deep, sharp growl of a scream came out of his burning lips, I cowered back again, and that’s when I realised. It was a massive, oversized covered in hair and upset penguin, on fire. I couldn’t speak, and I thought some more, he wasn’t going to kill me, he is dying himself, I really felt for him, I couldn’t understand how and why he was here. I turned round on the wall I cowered on earlier, and started tapping my head on it, not hard to hurt myself, just to think. I was thinking about how they would get him down here, the way I got down was just big enough for me to get through, neve… BOOM! An earthquake shocked the whole cave, all across the floor, shock-waving up my legs, through my body, and through the wall I was tapping my head on, and then there was silence.

Part 5;

Part 5; Have you ever seen something that changes your life forever? Once I turned round, what I saw did for me. After stopping tapping my head, I tilted it round to see behind me, there he was, the flaming penguin. Dead. I shook my head to check if I had hallucinated everything, but when I turned round and started to walk towards him, it was true. I walked towards his body, grieving, I only knew him 3 minutes, and it’s like I knew him my whole life, I crouched down by the side of him, I looked up, big chunks of rock on the roof of the cave were shaking, I ran back to the tapping head wall, where the rocks I was on before had fallen, and huddled in to the smallest shape for the biggest chance of survival. Nearly all the cave was breaking into rocks and crumbling on to me, rocks I’d consider as stones and dust fell on my head, I started running around, seeing if that was a better tactic, and it turned out to be a good idea! I stuck to the edge of the cave and ran around, when I got to the opposite side of the cave, I only just noticed, when the flaming penguin died and fell to the floor and caused that earthquake, the side of the cave fell in, forming the entrance to a new tunnel, high up, but luckily, the bits of rocks that fell out, formed a ramp to get up! I climbed up and crawled through the tunnel. It wasn’t an incredibly big tunnel, or else I wouldn’t be crawling would I? I dropped down the other end, into a pretty small room. Empty except loads of stalagmites and stalactites. I navigated my way across to the other end, where there was a small metal tunnel, like a piece of an air conditioning vent, I crawled through to the other end, where there was a big metal room. It was sort of like a submarine exit, where you climb up the ladder, open the hatch above and climb out, I opened the hatch (surprise surprise…) and climbed out. New location, what seemed to be a big empty hall, it echoed in every corner, I tried shouting for anyone, no response, I turned round, and success! A cylinder with the colour in it! Maybe it takes me home? Shall I find out?

Chapter 2; - The Equinox

Part 1;

Part 1; I had arrived, still covered in jelly, I rubbed it off and tilted up my back, it appeared to be a sort of dungeon. Well, I must have been dumb to think it would of took me home, this early? Anyway, someone left the door wide open; I hopped up and headed in the way of the door. There were a few steps, and then a little bit of tunnel, and then a ladder, but before I climbed the ladder, my Spy Phone went mad. It kept scrolling random numbers, letters and symbols. It settled with a 11 digit code, I jotted this down, the code is; 12 – 9 – 7 – 8 – 20 – 2 – 5 – 1 – 3 – 15 – 14 It’s a big code, and it made no sense to me at this point. But you never know. Anyway, I climbed the ladder; I was in a tiny circular room, with a metal door, with blurry glass so no one can see. There was a padlock on the door, and I entered the code I found earlier, humph. Why would my Spy Phone tell me the combination to the door? Is someone setting me up? I flung the door open, only to wish I hadn’t at such speed, I slid through the doorway and crept down the hallway that followed it, I lied flat against the wall and peeped round, I saw lots of bright light. Then I heard someone speak, at first I thought they were talking to me. ‘I will make you pay! This is for my father! You murdered him!’ The Man said. A harsh, deep growling noise followed. Wait a minute, I heard that before? Flaming Penguin in cave! I also identified the man too. Gary the Gadget Man. Tune in next time! Oh, and if your clever enough, you can figure out what the door combination means!

Part 2;

Part 2; I turned my head round a bit further, and saw Gary stood at a big machine, with a sticker on it saying ‘Zappifier 3000’. I saw a chair near by, with that fire penguin, without the fire, he was black, with a white belly, but on his belly was a lightning strike logo, and two little suction cups with wires out of them, like heart monitors, were embedded in his skin. A helmet was on his head, with a couple of circular discs on it, rotating around a pole out the middle. Gary pressed a couple of buttons on the machine, I scratched my head and watched him. Gary began walking towards me, no he could definitely see me, the big penguin hopped off his chair and walked towards me too, a cage began to fall down from above, I couldn’t move! I was in a small black cage, looking at the head of the PSA, who had turned mad. He opened his lips; I knew what he was going to say would be bad. ‘Intruding, killing Big Flipper here, need I say more?’ Gary said, in his scary, angry voice. ‘Buh, I didn’t kill him! He just fell to the floor, but he’s there! Look he’s alive!’ I replied, having that sinking, in trouble feeling. ‘Well, you killed one of his unlimited lives.’ Gary replied, sarcastically. ‘Well it doesn’t matter if they are unlimited do they?’ I tried to dig myself out of trouble. ‘Ack, I can’t even look at you, the amount of trouble you’ve caused me in the past, I’ve got the perfect place for you to go. And before you go, how long were you under that stone door? It was hilarious! How fat are you!’ Gary retaliated. ’40… minutes…’ I answered, feeling I had to. ‘Okay, thank-you! Take him away Big Flipper!’ Gary ordered. That big guy pressed a button on his remote, and it lifted my cage, and a piece of the floor with it, straight through the roof. I sat down, and wondered what was going to happen to me. I appeared to be in a massive room, with no doors, just loads of holes in the floor, and in the room were loads of cables, that these cages could run across, mine led me to the north west, well I think it was the north west, corner of the room. I had no choice obviously, I was in a cage. I gazed up, there was Gary, laughing at me, he wasn’t in a cage, he was on a sofa, just sat there, laughing. I knew he had it in for me, so my idea was, to get out of here pronto.
