 | Subject: The Rift - Chapter 3 - The Last Zulag Thu Apr 24, 2008 2:42 pm | |
| The Final Zulag! Such a big title, it deserves it's own place.  The Final Zulag; | Spoiler: | | | Part 5;
Just before I typed in Zulag 5’s frequency, I got a message from Gary again.
‘Hey, haven’t you checked the Rift Monitor? It’s going wild, I predict Destruction Hour in 1 hour, get that last Zulag quick!’ He shouted.
I typed in the final Zulag, I arrived in a big room, with no doors, just the plaque in the centre, I read it and it said this.
‘Zulag 5: The Zulag Test
The Final Hour, Jimmy. We know who you are, be ready. For this.’
I was shocked and scared; I looked around, before I could complete my 360 degree check, the whole room exploded.
I survived that, I turned round, the back wall had been blown open, and about 70 of those purple bad guys stood there. One with a crown on his head who stood at the front with a staff, but his wasn’t a lightning logo, it was a thunder logo.
‘We are the Zulags’ He said, ‘And you, will die.’
I had to be easy on them, there we’re 70 of them, and 1 of me.
‘I surrender, on to you, a very good decision.’ I replied.
Two bad guys grabbed my arms, took me out the building, round the corner, and all 70 people poured in to what looked like a massive tank like thing, they lied me down on a bed, put an oxygen mask on my face, and grabbed the gun, and knocked me out with it.
I woke up in a dungeon cave, with chains on my arms and legs. With one bad guy in the dungeon, sat on a chair.
‘Come round yet dude? I’m here to squeeze the blood out of the stone, tell me how you get this staff to work.’ He said. ‘Heh, you must be kidding? As if I’d tell you.’ I replied. ‘You either do it the easy way, or the hard way, your choice, I’d suggest the easy way.’ He responded. ‘Ok, press the Red Button on the side of the staff.’ I wittingly told him.
A Fire Blast shot out the staff, in his face, he was on fire, and fell in to the lava in the dungeon cave. I noticed that the final Keycard had slipped out his pocket. I tried to shimmy out the chains, which worked slightly, I needed a bit more. I bent my mouth down, and bit my coat, pulled it up, and got some of the washing up liquid which was still in the bottle, on my face, I rubbed it on the hand chains, and I shimmied out of the hand chains, I untied my feet and grabbed my staff and the final Keycard. I left the dungeon, climbed out in to a new area, like Zulag 2’s. There were about 100 bad guys there, I set one ablaze with the Fire Blast, and he ran around, passing the flame to all other 99.
I walked over all the bodies, and I found my way to a room, I looked in, and saw a TV screen, with a purple face on it, that’s when I realised.
I ran out, this is more than just Zulags or whatever, these Zulags as they like to call themselves aren’t clever enough to figure this whole system out, only one person is.
I walked in to another room, and I knew someone else was behind this.
‘Gary, how unusual to see you here, in Zulag 5.’ I said. ‘Oh yes, I think I will be taking those Keycards, thank-you. Guards, get him.’ He ordered. ‘These cards go in the Master Cavern, not in your grubby hands.’ I replied. ‘Get him!’ He shouted.
I ran out as fast as I could, I climbed up a rock face to the right of the room Gary was in, now I knew, those Zulags could climb too! I climbed all the way up the rock face, and I looked down the other side, and I had a plan, I quickly climbed down and hung on the edge, all the Zulags ran straight of the edge to their deaths, I jumped down, pulled the lever, the piece of ground I was standing on broke off, and fell down!
I arrived in a new area. A small hall, Gary stood at the other end.
‘Put the cards down, Jimmy, if you want to live.’ He said. ‘Penguins can’t die remember?’ I replied. ‘But they can be banned.’ He replied. ‘Well, you can only ban me if you can see me.’ I said.
I ran forward, running forward to him, not going round him, going in to him, going right through his legs, at that point he pressed a few buttons on his wrist-band, which was disabling the colour portal behind him, which is what I was going to, before it popped, I managed to touch it, the colour grew across me, it had come across me, and I had appeared, but not where I wanted to.
I was nowhere, I was stood in utter black. No walls, no floors, just no vision.
I had filtered off the radar, no way back.
