Chapter 5; - Trap Moor
‘What a tasty find! We will sure enjoy sampling this brain! A clever, juicy brain, teaming with plenty of Penguin DNA! We will be able to make a million clones with this!’ The high pitched voice said. ‘Yes! Get it in the Extractilator Unit right away soldier!’ The deep voice said.
So the team had been shortened quite considerably, Jimmy was lost, Emily was back at base, at least she was safe, and James, well he had just vanished. He could be anywhere.
So the remaining team, Will and Sara, and I suppose you could call Blobber part of the team, maybe part-time. They were walking through the remaining crop field. Emotionally drained, physically drained.
‘Only a bit to go now.’ The General managed to say. ‘When we find Jimmy, we can see about getting James back, can’t we?’ Sara asked, hoping for a positive answer. ‘Yes, of course we can.’ The General replied.
They finally made it through the crops, and they entered a large forest. They relaxed against some trees for a moment. When they had calmed down, they began a relaxed walk through the forest. Finally the could start a conversation.
‘Just up this forest and we are in Kendal City.’ The General said. ‘Thank God! Finally, it’s a cool, shady place under these trees, and this is the last place we have to walk through!’ Will said, blowing a sigh of relief. ‘Hooray! We will get to see Jimmy!’ Sara said. ‘There is a happy ending for everyone, but eventually it will end.’ The General replied. ‘Wow, your sure speaking words of truth, isn’t he Will?’ Sara asked.
A moment’s silence.
‘Will?’ Sara said his name.
She turned round, he was gone! She put on a face of wonder. Turned back around, and so was the General!
‘Okay… this is spooky… Emily, you there?’ Sara said. ‘Yeah, I watched all of that, I cross-referenced the footage with Rift Activity and nothing, it wasn’t a teleport, or anything to do with the Rift, if it was, we’d know about it.’ Emily replied. ‘So what do you think it was?’ Sara asked. ‘Honest? I think this is a trap.’ Emily replied. ‘Hoo. You sure made me feel comfortable.’ Sara replied. ‘Anyway, The General was right, he said not far to go. I finished mapping the island, but, the thing is, not far to go to where? No where. There is no Kendal City. I dug deeper in to the defining system and found out there is no Kendal City or any tribes. Seems they were sealed deep in the system, like someone wanted to hide them. I dug even deeper and found there is more information, just I can’t get in to it because it has a deeper algorithm to access the database.’ Emily said. ‘Okay, enough techy-babble, so what your saying is there is no hospital or tribe thing?’ Sara asked. ‘Certain of it.’ Emily said. ‘Well, got anything on why and where James and Will disappeared?’ Sara questioned. ‘Nothing as of now, but, I have a live tracking system implanted and enabled in your ear-pod right now, so, continue to wherever the General was going to take you, if you get caught in some trap, I will know where you are, and then just hope Jimmy knows about this, it’s the only thing we can do, our purpose is to protect Club Penguin, sometimes we need to make gambles, if you die, I will continue this group, you trust me don’t you?’ Emily asked. ‘Yes, I do, if I die get yourself to safety, make a new group of people, and do something clever with your life.’ Sara replied. ‘Will do.’ Emily said. ‘Onwards.’ Sara replied.
Sara began walking herself up the forest. She got prompted by Emily.
‘Uh, your there.’ Emily said. ‘Well, there are only a few ruins of rocks and bits of dust, not much though. Wait a minute…’ Sara continued. ‘Found something?’ Emily wondered. ‘Yes, a trapdoor.’ Sara replied.
Silence again.
‘You can only go down, you can’t risk going back, what happens if you get lost like the others?’ Emily said. ‘True, if I die down here, at least I wasn’t a coward.’ Sara admitted. ‘Remember, I’m tracking you. When you get down, if you survive, walk to every wall so I can generate a map of your boundaries.’ Emily said. ‘Okay, here goes.’ Sara said, gulping.
She opened the trapdoor, and leapt in to the thin emptiness.
‘DURANIMO!’ Sara sounded.

Chapter 6; - The Extractilator
Sara fell down the chute, she looked down, and everything was pitch black, she looked up and saw where she had come from going that way. She knew that she wouldn’t die, because why put a trap door like that and make people die?
She looked down again and squinted to get the tiniest bit of light in her eyes, it got clearer and clearer, she saw a metal cavern, rather rusty, light blues reflected off the metal, some nice turquoise shades. It began to get brighter and brighter, she saw the colours wobble slightly, like waves. She could see it all now, like it was metres away.
She knew she was getting faster and faster, the landing wouldn’t be very good. She could feel it coming; she felt wind rush past her face and straight up the top.
SPLASH!
She landed in loads of water, deep enough to cushion the speed she was going at and bring her to a stop, bobbing on the water.
‘Well, made it.’ Sara said down the inter-com. ‘I gathered. I’m picking up traces of electricity; the water isn’t electrified, because you wouldn’t be alive right now, now, can you see anything obvious, like a… like a switch or something?’ Emily asked. ‘Um,’ Sara gases around the area. ‘Just a very large red button thing high up on the wall.’ ‘Can you reach it? Launch yourself up out the water like a rocket and hit it.’ Emily ordered. ‘Ok, let me try…’ Sara said.
Sara crouched down at the bottom of the water. She shot up with all her strength and mite, and smacked her flipper on the button.
The water began to drain, her going with it obviously, it had quite a bit to drain, so it took a while before it took any effect on her.
‘Can you see anything?’ Emily asked.
Sara had gone down a level, and could see a large door.
‘Yeah, a hallway to my right.’ Sara replied. ‘Oh you’re brilliant!’ Emily congratulated. ‘I know but you forget to tell me usually…’ Sara replied.
She hopped in to the hallway, and followed the corridor right around the corner until she was faced by a ladder.
‘Climb it!’ Emily ordered. ‘Okay! I was just checking to see if you would say it is safe or not.’ Sara replied.
She grabbed on to the ladder, and climbed up to the roof, there was a circular door, like on a submarine, where you open the vertical ones that let you go up floors, she span the wheel round and pushed the door up.
She leapt up to this next area, and followed another corridor.
The area had changed theme, it was more of a base you’d find in science fiction movies, all technical, with loads of glass sculptures with green and red liquid flowing inside them.
Sara walked around a bit further and found herself in a large hall, same theme, sci-fi, she looked around in amazement, there were loads of little shelters, with strange glass orbs covering penguins, these penguins were asleep, knocked out by the looks of it, with two suction caps and wires sticking out their heads, with strange helmets on, wires leading to their bodies pumped green and red liquid through them.
Sara looked around, and took everything in, and then there were sounds of a zapping noise, it repeated about three times, and then there were sounds of someone walking with metal feet, she saw a purple creature come round the corner, she quickly hid behind a glass orb with a penguin inside, and watched the creature walk past. She was amazed with what it looked like! It was a living, breathing monster thing! Purple, with a gun wrapped behind its back, walking past like it had ants in its pants. It walked, well if you could call it walking, to a large orange machine, he opened the door, stepped in, and pressed a few buttons on a keypad, he suddenly vanished after his body became overgrown in colour.
Sara walked around to get a bigger look on the orange device, she thought of it as a type of teleporter, she looked closer, the antennae on the top started flashing, then it span round, and light appeared in the machine, it split, piercing her eyes and then, one, no two, actually three. No! It was constant! Loads of purple creatures started to walk out, then sirens sounded, the words ‘Red Alert’ were said constantly, she walked backwards quickly and accidentally hit some buttons on the glass pod with a penguin inside, she ran around things to the other side of the hall, standing behind things on my way, she ducked beneath a large glass structure with green and red liquid spraying inside it, and she watched the purple creatures come out.
Sara turned her head in hope of finding something to stop everything or get out; she found the one thing she was looking for.
Jimmy.
